Data Quality & Optimization Specialist

What you will be doing

Data is at the heart of what we do. Our customers rely on accurate, structured, and timely data to make informed strategic decisions. The Data Quality & Data Entry (DQDE) team ensures that our data meets the highest standards. As a Data Quality & Optimization Specialist, you will work closely with another Data Quality & Optimization Specialist to optimize workflows, enhance efficiency, and support a team primarily composed of working students in delivering high-quality data.

Your role is all about making our data operations smoother, smarter, and more effective. Here’s how you’ll contribute:

Optimizing data processes

• Improve data workflows to increase efficiency and reduce manual work.
• Identify opportunities for automation and process enhancements.
• Ensure structured, scalable workflows that grow with the business.

Ensuring data quality & business relevance

• Monitor and maintain data accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Track key quality metrics and proactively address issues.
• Align data processes with business needs to maximize impact.

Team coordination & support

• ‍‍Work closely with the other Data Quality & Optimization Specialist to guide and support the team.
• Planning and distributing tasks effectively to maintain smooth daily operations.
• Conduct structured reviews to uphold data quality standards.

Cross-team collaboration

• Ensure other teams (Insights, Product & Tech and Commercial) have access to high-quality data.
• Act as a key contact for data-related improvements and questions.
• Support company-wide initiatives that depend on well-structured data.

What your first 90 days will look like

Your onboarding will be structured so you can gradually take on responsibilities and get comfortable in the role.

First 30 days 🛠

• Get up to speed with our data workflows, tools, and automation efforts.
• Understand the current processes, team dynamics, and how data quality is maintained.
• Start with data validation and structured reviews, learning the ropes of what’s working well and where we can optimize.

First 60 days 🚀

• Take responsibility for at least one key data process and ensure it runs smoothly.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and begin testing small changes.
• Tracking key data quality metrics and proposing actionable steps to improve them.

First 90 days 🎯

• Collaborate with the current Data Quality & Optimization Specialist to clearly define your specific responsibilities, ensuring smooth division of tasks.
• Help roll out a process improvement or automation initiative that drives efficiency in the data workflow.
• Ensure data workflows are aligned with business needs, and that cross-team projects can rely on high-quality data.

What you bring

• 5-7 years of experience in data quality, data entry, or data operations.
• A practical mindset— you’re always looking for ways to streamline workflows and reduce inefficiencies.
• Experience working with structured data workflows and ensuring accuracy.
• Good communication skills to collaborate with your team and our different teams.

Nice to have:

• Experience with data transformation tools (e.g., SQL, Python, Power Query, or automation scripts).
• Familiarity with market intelligence, financial data, or structured industry datasets.

What we offer

• Competitive salary range of €55,000 - €65,000 annually, including an 8% holiday allowance.
• Performance bonus of up to 10% of your gross salary.
