What you'll be doing:
As part of the Data Engineering Team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining our Data flow solutions. You will ensure reliability, scalability, and efficiency in the development of our platform by applying:
- Data Architecture: Designing and managing scalable, reliable, and efficient data flows and the data model tailored to business needs. Also, a high focus on managing data quality.
- Dataflow Orchestration: With Azure Logic Apps and Azure Data Factory to orchestrate data flows.
- Data movement (ELT): Develop and maintain ELT SQL scripts with a lot of cleaning steps.
- Data Management and Optimization: Structuring and optimizing data in SQL to enhance accessibility and performance.
- Standards & Guidelines: Setup and improve new and current standards and guidelines regarding data architecture, orchestration, ELT, and data management.
Projects and challenges you will be working on:
- Connecting new data sources to the existing data model;
- Building data flows from beginning to end including data retrieval, cleaning, mapping, movement, and publishing through APIs;
- Data model changes to support new or changed business needs.
What success looks like:
- First 30 Days: Familiarize yourself with our standards and architecture. Get to know your teammates, our core development processes and A-Insights
- First 60 Days: Take part in projects to improve or add new data flows. And understand our data model(s).
- First 90 Days: Take ownership of projects to enhance data flows and data model.
- From this period on: Be in the lead on initiatives to enhance the data model, data architecture, and all the data flows.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Data flows in time and reliability;
- Changes of existing data flows or adding new data flows are developed according to our standards and guidelines;
- Timely delivery of Data projects and automation projects.
Your talent:
Requirements
- 5-7 years of experience in data engineering focused on ELT and / or DWH dataflows or a similar role;
- Experience in T-SQL, ELT standards, and productionizing data flows;
- You tackle problems with a can-do mindset and have experience with managing a stakeholder field in projects to ensure alignment with their business needs.
Nice to haves:
- Strong skills in SQL for data management and optimization;
- Experience in Azure (Entra ID, Azure Key Vault, Logic Apps, Azure Data Factory, Azure Function Apps, SQL databases, API Management).

The Product & Tech team currently consists of 7 people but by the end of the year this team will have doubled.

- Competitive salary range of €65,000 - €80,000 annually, including an 8% holiday allowance.
